Editorial Policy
Clear scope. Visible sources. Honest limitations
Useful information comes first
Content should answer a reader’s question with concrete explanations, examples, limitations, and appropriate next steps. We avoid invented urgency, unsupported superlatives, and numerical ratings without a reproducible method.
Authorship and AI assistance
The launch content was prepared with AI assistance. Clara Weiss, Oliver Reed, Sofia Lind, and Luca Moreau are fictional author identities created for the site, with AI-generated portraits. They are not presented as real-world certified professionals. Their biographies describe areas of coverage, not invented employment, education, or achievements.
Evidence and testing
Product reviews in this edition are based on publicly available documentation and original selection advice. We do not claim hands-on testing, speed measurements, malware-detection scores, or first-person experiences that did not occur. Independent lab results are a separate source and must be read with their dates, platforms, and methodology.
Publication dates
An article’s publication date is the date it becomes publicly available. A source-review date identifies when its source material was checked. We change an article’s modification date when its content materially changes, not merely to make it appear fresh.
Weekly briefings
Some practical briefings are prepared in advance and released on a weekly schedule. They are explicitly identified as evergreen guidance, not reporting about events that had not happened when the material was written. Future-dated material is unavailable until its publication time.
Corrections
When an error is identified, the responsible publisher should verify it against an appropriate primary source, correct the text and any related structured data, and record the substantive change. See contact and corrections for the currently available contact route.
Commercial relationships
