uBlock Origin Lite is not just the same extension with a new icon. It uses a different architecture and does not replicate every advanced control. Safari content blockers, full filtering applications, and DNS services also have their own scopes. Compare function to function rather than names alone.

Keep the blocker updated and review the maintainer’s troubleshooting guidance. Additional filter lists can be useful for a particular language or annoyance, but more lists are not automatically better. Overlap can make both performance and diagnosis harder.
